Scavenger Hunt! Time to be glad you kept all those obscure items in your inventory!

A list will be posted here this Friday (June 6) at noon. In the mean time List is up, scroll down genius! Pick partners and post your partner here, even if you're working alone. Groups of no more than two, please (yes, that means you can technically do it alone, but it's gonna be easier in a pair, trust me).

We ask if you want to participate in the event, you post here who you are paired with or if you're doing it alone. It'll help us keep track of who is with who so that no one feels like they got jipped out of items or what have you.

The scavenger hunt will be 24 hours long, from Friday(6/5) 12pm to
Saturday(6/6) 12pm. The list isn't short, but sticks to a theme and has
quite splendid rewards. A complete list can be turned in when you're done to a GM, who will review your items. This can be done at any point during the 24 hour period.

Once again, I'll review in small concise statements so we can avoid as many stupid questions as possible:
-- 24 hour scavenger hunt starts Friday at noon: wait for the list.
-- can be done alone or in a pair.
-- a pair means two people, not three, not even more than that.
-- post who you're working with here (and if you want a partner, here might be a good place to announce that)
-- since we worked together to form the list, gms won't be helping you with items. yes, even on their player accounts - so don't bother asking. tough luck, kids.
-- turn your completed list of stuffs in as soon as you can, the first, second, and third teams will have the best prizes (in that order, too)
-- no, we won't hold on to part of the list while you run around for four hours trying to get the rest. try to get it in all at once.

The prizes were planned for pairs, so if you work individually, you'll get the amount equal to half the planned prize =P

So you pretty much get the same as if you were working as pair, but you have to work twice as hard. So now you see why freida suggested pairs?

A few of you have commented that the list is long.. look at it carefully. Most of it is available through mining and some are even purchasable (if you know your npcs).

Freida... just the respawn time for those monsters is one hour minimum (usually). Combine that with competition, the 45% droprate most of them get, and a bunch of stuff. all this in 24 hours is hard to do. especially when people don't play the whole 24 hours =-=

and 120 total bijou is a little nuts >.>

We picked pretty good prizes and did consider the drop rates when we picked the stuff. It's nuts, but doable.
