rms updates?
This post is addressing a topic few have asked us recently. Don't worry, nothing new to download yet.
For those of your who have paged through ratemyserver, you'll notice big monster, map, and spawn area updates. Though the play server doesn't carry that update, the test server (where work happens) is up to speed with RMS.
What does it mean to you? It means that we're making sure that the transition between this patch and the next works smoothly. That everything works properly so there are minimal errors and no one walks into a warp that arrives at a non-existent map. There's still a fair amount of work to be done before I think any of us are very confident in releasing this update for the play server especially with some of the customizations we'll be adding, but we're making decent progress. In the mean time, don't worry about it too much.
Of course if you didn't notice any of this at all: move along, move along~~

Re: rms updates?
at the time, most likely not. we use it to test stuff the first time around so we know breaking points, bugs, and such. otherwise, it's not too unlike the normal server (except in mass map updates like this). Nothing you do there is reflected in the regular server, so it's in most player's interest not to bother.
that and your odds of bugging out are pretty high >.>
